Lockhart
Native Plant Garden

Get ready to explore the beauty of the Lockhart Native Plant Garden! This stunning garden was created in 1999 by Pine Mountain Club residents who wanted to showcase the local natives for everyone to enjoy and learn from. Mary Ann and James Lockhart lovingly managed the garden for 15 years, even leading Sierra Club hikes to talk about the plants. Today, the garden has been revitalized with the help of volunteers and a GoFundMe campaign. With over 40 plant species identified, there's always something new to discover. Join us in supporting the garden's current project by donating to the GoFundMe campaign and help us purchase new plants and replace the old fencing. Let's keep this little slice of paradise thriving!
