Living in Pine Mountain Club

Autumn in Pine Mountain Club welcomes in the first snow, the cozy feeling of sweaters and hot chocolate. We admire the beauty of the forest as we gather acorns and witness the turning of leaves from green to yellow on our deciduous trees.

The cooling temperatures remind locals that it's time to order wood and wood pellets for our fireplaces and stoves. We look forward to the bears retreating into hibernation and the annual holiday craft fair.

The sun has risen on Pine Mountain Club, melting away the snow and heralding the arrival of spring. The first chirping of birds stirs the residents, signaling the awakening of nature. Spring has returned, and the wildflowers have burst through the once-frozen ground, painting the landscape with vibrant colors.

Residents prepare themselves for the welcoming of bears, bobcats, stellar jays, and mountain lions.

As we step outside our doors, the incoming ladybugs swarm the milkweed and help our dear monarchs by eating all the aphids. It is a time to venture into the forest for a relaxing hike, head to Fern Lake for a bit of fishing, or go to the Golf course for a round of golf with some friends.

There's a chill in the air when winter arrives in Pine Mountain Club. Our children and grandchildren look forward to staying home, playing in the snow, making snow angels, and building snowmen. The adults gear up in their sweaters, jeans, and boots and head out to their driveway to shovel snow. Their minds are keenly aware of the possibility of power outages, frozen pipes, and icy roads. It's a time of beauty as we admire the snow-capped mountains and the solitude of the world that has gone quiet. We welcome visitors from all over to enjoy the peace of our wondrous town.

School is out, and the pool is the place to be here at Pine Mountain Club. The weather has warmed, and our dear forest friends, the deer, bobcats, coyotes, bears, and mountain lions, are fully active and curiously out and about.

But oh, the stars at night! We welcome venturous hikes with friends and family to gaze upon the lupine and poppies. Kids are gearing up for summer camp, and adults are gathering old stuff from around the house to sell at the community yard sale.

At this time, our community comes together to enjoy the Concert on the Greens and many other local events, fostering a sense of togetherness and shared experiences.
